Plumeria v19.11 renames the CLI to plumeria-lint and caches what the build lint loads.

1. plumeria-lint

The CLI that runs the lint is now plumeria-lint. It takes the same flags:

package.json
{
  "scripts": {
    "build": "plumeria-lint -- esbuild src/index.ts --bundle"
  }
}

plumerialint no longer lints. It prints that it has been renamed and exits with code 1, so a build script that still calls it fails instead of passing without the lint:

✖ [plumerialint] plumerialint has been renamed to plumeria-lint. Run plumeria-lint instead.

Running npx @plumeria/init again renames it in the build script.

2. A faster build lint

The lint the bundler plugins run starts oxlint in a child process. That process now keeps a compile cache in node_modules/.cache/plumeria-lint, so from the second build it loads oxlint and the Plumeria rules without compiling them again. Set NODE_COMPILE_CACHE to keep the cache somewhere else.

Release notes

19.11.0 (Oct 9, 2026)

  • Rename the CLI from plumerialint to plumeria-lint; plumerialint prints that it has been renamed and exits with code 1
  • @plumeria/init writes plumeria-lint into the build script and renames an existing plumerialint
  • The build lint keeps a compile cache in node_modules/.cache/plumeria-lint, so oxlint and the rules load faster from the second build
